Security - Security Coordinator
ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Manager, Precinct and Event Security Services, the Security Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day security operations of the Sydney Cricket Ground and Allianz Stadium. The Security Coordinator is a pivotal player in the Venues NSW Security Team, responsible for leading a security team and holding them accountable on shift, taking ownership of the security operations on shift, you will also lead the provision of control room, patrols, inspections and first aid response; as well as emergency and incident management. You will provide advice and direction during daily operations and as part of a response, act as a chief warden when on shift on business as usual and event days.
ABOUT YOU
You will demonstrate effective problem-solving skills, high level of detail and the ability to work collaboratively with various internal and external stakeholders.
- Minimum 3-year experience in Security Operations and managing a team
- Certificate II and III in Security Operations
- Current NSW Security License Class 1ACE
- Unrestricted NSW Drivers licence
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)
- High standard in report writing and communication skills
The role is 24-7 and works on a rotating roster over 7 days.
