Systems Engineer

Responsibilities 

Reporting into the Senior Systems Engineer who is based in Sydney, Timezone is seeking a Systems Engineer to join our team in Mumbai on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract with potential to extend.

You will be responsible for:

• Enterprise-wide rollout of Windows Local Administrator Password Solution (LAPS) using Microsoft Intune.
• Upgrading our aging server fleet from Windows Server 2016 to 2022.
• Performing in-place upgrades for Windows Server using System Centre Configuration Manager (SCCM) or other means.
• Creating and deploying SCCM compliance and remediation policies.
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues with Windows and SCCM.
• Managing the project plan with predetermined timelines.

Skills and Experience

This team member will be responsible for several internal initiatives within the Mumbai office, and as such must be a team player with a technical mindset and strong capacity to prioritise and escalate incidents.

The ideal candidate will also possess:

• A minimum of 5+ years IT administration experience in a Windows-based environment.
• Qualifications within Microsoft certifications e.g. MCSA, AZ-104, MD-102 or similar.
• Previous experience with operating system upgrades using Microsoft System Centre.
• Basic networking fundamentals such as TCP/IP, IPSec, routers, switches, firewalls.
• Previous experience rolling out Local Administrator Password Solution (LAPS).
• Ability to design, implement and deliver technical solutions.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong English skills (both written and verbal).
