Who is KINGPIN?
Kingpin is our premium brand that is operated by TEEG (The Entertainment & Education Group). TEEG also operate the popular brands Zone Bowling & Timezone. Across AU and NZ and the 3 brands, we have almost 100 venues; all devoted to creating remarkable experiences for our guests! Our Support Office is based in North Sydney and is a collaborative, busy & engaging atmosphere. Our vibe is hard-working & fast-moving but with a core value of FUN, we always make time for this!

What is the role?
The Marketing Manager for Kingpin reports into the COO for Kingpin and partners closely with F&B and Operations to achieve outcomes for the 8 venues (and growing!) across Australia and lead the direction of the brand across ANZ. In this role you will manage a team of 7 which includes a thriving in house Design team. Your ability to inspire the team, bring them ‘on the journey’ and create effective partnerships within the Support Office will be your success factors.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Develop and execute plans and strategies, including planning, design, communication, media and reporting to raise awareness of the brand and ultimately drive sales
- Ongoing development and management of the brand strategy
- REMARKABLE development and delivery of promotions & campaigns that push the boundaries
- Be OBSESSED with new sources of prospective customer data and provide recommendations to the Senior Leadership Team on strategies to increase data.
- Keep it REAL by undertaking post-campaign analysis to identify future opportunities
- Responsible for managing the overall marketing budget.
- PARTNER with other departments on campaign execution and gather ‘buy-in’ for effective campaigns
- Enabling your team to take risks and challenge themselves. Inspire from the front by leading with FUN!
Who are you?
- 3-6 years’ experience in a similar role in a fast-paced and dynamic business
- Exceptional influencing skills and have the ability to make fast, confident decisions
- Fun, enthusiastic and collaborative. You can achieve quick outcomes and make great (FAST!) decisions
- Sound communication skills that allow for flawless implementation
- Be a hands-on professional with strong commercial acumen, operational and KPI focused
- Experience in directing media and creative development agencies
