The Opportunity

Join us as Change Analyst in our VNS Programs team to support agile Mission Teams led by Mission Leaders within a matrix reporting line to deliver business initiatives within a complex, multiplatform technical environment.

The role, which offers the flexibility to be based anywhere nationally, is pivotal in facilitating and supporting the implementation of change initiatives arising from the Missions. The successful candidate will collaborate with the Mission Lead, business analysts, and stakeholders to identify, analyze, and communicate the impacts and benefits of change. They will ensure the readiness and adoption of end users through effective communication, training, and business engagement activities within an agile framework.

Additionally, the role involves working closely with the Delivery Practice Lead, other Practice Leads, the Group Scrum Master, and relevant management teams to actively contribute to the adoption and optimization of new ways of working. The Change Analyst will play a crucial role in fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team and across the division.

What you’ll be doing day-to-day

Conduct Comprehensive Change Analysis:

  • Perform stakeholder analysis, change impact and gap analysis, and training needs analysis.
  • Identify potential people-side risks and anticipated points of resistance.
  • Develop specific plans to mitigate or address concerns.
  • Conduct readiness assessments, evaluate results, and present findings clearly.

 

Apply Structured Change Management Approach:

  • Use a structured methodology for managing the people side of change caused by mission-driven initiatives.
  • Develop a change management strategy based on situational awareness of the change details and impacted groups.
  • Execute targeted change management activities, including change leadership, communication, education, training, and resistance management plans.

Integrate and Facilitate Change Management Activities:

  • Work with the Mission Team to integrate change management activities into the overall project plan.
  • Facilitate and support the transition and stabilization of the change.
  • Identify and document lessons learned and best practices.

Track and Measure Change Adoption:

  • Create and manage measurement systems to track adoption, utilization, and proficiency of individual changes.
  • Collaborate with group-wide specialists (Internal Communications, Marketing, Business Subject Matter Experts) to support implementation.
  • Undertake project administration, monitoring, and reporting tasks as required.

Engage Stakeholders and Promote Safety:

  • Work with the Mission Lead to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels to build awareness, understanding, and commitment to the change.
  • Support the Mission Team in tracking initiative progress, monitoring change activities, and supporting UAT, business readiness, deployment, hyper-care, Go to Market activities, and PIR processes.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and innovation in agile change processes, tools, and practices.
  • Promote a safety-first culture and proactively monitor physical and psychological safety at work.

What you’ll bring to this role

  • A university degree in related area of expertise such as Business administration, Organisational development, Program & Project Management, Computer Science, Business Analysis.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and tools couples with excellent knowledge of agile methodologies, frameworks and tools and experience in supporting change within a complex multi-platform and dynamic matrix reporting environment.  
  • Demonstrated experience develop and execute change management plans and strategies, including communication, training, coaching, and resistance management, to support the successful delivery and adoption of the change.  
  • Experience conducting change impact assessments and stakeholder analysis to understand the current state, the desired future state, and the gaps and risks associated with the change. 
  • Skilled at monitoring and measuring the effectiveness and outcomes of the change management interventions and provide feedback and recommendations for improvement. 
  • Conceptual, problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt and respond to changing situations and priorities. The ability to apply analytical skill and conceptual thinking to operations, system and process planning and optimisation across a range of technologies and a demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
