As Change Manager you'll be a key contributor to the TPG acquisition, supporting the integration of the TPG Enterprise Government and Wholesale Fixed business into Vocus. Driving the change management strategy, the role will be accountable for developing and implementing change plans, and activities to support a smooth transition, minimise disruption, and ensure adoption of new processes, structures, and systems. Working across the whole integration program, the role will work closely with the Head of People Integration & Change, the integration program leadership, project teams, and stakeholders to build alignment, engagement, and cultural integration. 

The role is part of the People & Culture team and is a hybrid working arrangement of a minimum of two days in the office at 452 Flinders Street, Melbourne.

What you'll be doing day-to-day

Change planning 

  • Develop and implement comprehensive change management interventions aligned with the integration program objectives and timelines. 
  • Identify key change impacts across people, processes, systems, and culture. 
  • Develop and manage a detailed change impact assessment and change management plan, including timelines, milestones, and key deliverables. 

Stakeholder management 

  • Engage with integration mission leads, leaders, and key stakeholders to understand business goals and change impacts. 
  • Create and maintain stakeholder engagement plans to build alignment and advocacy. 
  • Facilitate stakeholder workshops, feedback sessions, and regular updates to ensure active participation and input. 

Training and capability development 

  • Work with mission leads to assess training needs and develop programs to equip employees with the skills to operate effectively post-merger. 
  • Collaborate on the design, delivery, of training programs to ensure they support the overall change management strategy. 

Organisational readiness and adoption 

  • Assess organisational readiness and develop action plans to address gaps. 
  • Define success metrics and monitor change adoption. 
  • Develop initiatives to enhance readiness and manage resistance to change. 

Risk management 

  • Identify change-related risks and develop mitigation strategies. 
  • Maintain a change risk register and report on progress and issues. 
  • Proactively address barriers to adoption and recommend solutions to ensure sustainable change. 

Culture and people integration 

  • Support the integration program to align and integrate organisational cultures. 
  • Work with the Comms & Change to execute programs and initiatives to enhance engagement and manage resistance. 

What you'll bring to the role

    • Proven experience (5+ years) in managing large-scale change programs, ideally related to organisational transformation. 
    • Strong knowledge and understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and tools. Demonstrated ability to influence and work effectively with senior leaders and diverse stakeholders. 
    • Excellent facilitation, presentation, and interpersonal skills. 
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a results-driven mindset. 
    • Strategic thinking and planning coupled with stakeholder engagement and influence.
