As a Regulatory Affairs Manager, your role designed to monitor regulation that applies to Vocus, respond to relevant consultation on behalf of the company, advise and educate internal stakeholders to ensure they remain updated on regulatory matters as well as provide oversight to ensure Vocus complies with key regulatory requirements.

The role also facilitates Vocus’ interactions with government agencies, departments, regulators and industry bodies on regulatory matters. 

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to Vocus’ overall strategic plans with regards to regulatory matters
  • Monitor current and upcoming government regulatory requirements 
  • Develop and maintain relationships in federal, state, and local regulatory agencies
  • Respond to requests for information from regulatory bodies
  • Advise and educate internal stakeholders on key regulatory matters related to the business

Skills:

  • Three to seven years’ experience in a similar regulatory role; telecommunications industry experience highly desirable 
  • Ability to inform and educate internal stakeholders and the broader business on regulations and polices relevant to the business
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • High level of knowledge of corporate governance requirements, protocols and processes.
