We are looking for a People Integration Strategy Consultant to play a key role in preparing for the potential integration of people, processes, and assets of TPG’s EGW fixed business post regulatory approval. 

About the role

The People Integration Strategy Consultant will be a key contributor to the proposed TPG acquisition, supporting the potential integration of the TPG Enterprise Government and Wholesale Fixed business into Vocus. Partnering with Head of People Integration and people workstream leads, the role will ensure the seamless execution of key strategic initiatives associated with the People & Performance mission. This role requires a professional with a consulting background and expertise in managing complex projects, driving outcomes, and applying best practices in content creation, workshop facilitation, and delivery excellence.

This exciting opportunity is a 9-month maximum term contract and sits within the People & Culture team. It is a full-time, hybrid working arrangement of a minimum of two days in the office and can be based out of our Melbourne or Sydney offices.

What you’ll be doing day-to-day 

  • Partnering with the Head of People Integration and people workstream leads to plan, coordinate, and execute key people integration activities.
  • Provide hands on support to plan, coordinate and execute the operating model and culture workstream.
  • Develop and refine content, materials, and tools to support workshops, working sessions, and presentations and analyse and translate information into key insights and consumable content.
  • Facilitate workshops and working sessions to drive alignment, collaboration, and decision-making across stakeholders.
  • Ensure the consistent application of best practices for project management and integration execution and track progress, identify risks, and proactively recommend solutions to keep workstreams on track and aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure milestones, deliverables, and outcomes are achieved on time and within scope and monitor dependencies, issues, and changes in scope, updating stakeholders and managing impacts on project timelines and resources.
  • Prepare and deliver reports, dashboards, and executive-level presentations that clearly communicate progress and key outcomes.

What You’ll bring to this role.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in strategy, transformation or a consulting role.
  • Proven experience in program delivery, strategy development and execution, particularly in merger, acquisition, or large-scale transformation projects.
  • Strong understanding of HR practices, operating model design, workforce dynamics, and organisational behaviour desired
  • Highly analytical and able to synthesise complex data into actionable insights.
  • Expertise in designing and facilitating workshops and working sessions that drive actionable outcomes coupled with strong written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to create high-impact content and materials.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in dynamic, fast-paced environments with multiple stakeholders and excellent relationship-building skills and ability to influence and engage senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, focused on driving results and adaptable to changing priorities and demands.
