You are responsible to drive business growth both within existing enterprise account customers base and by acquiring new business within defined lead portfolio. Build and manage successful customer relationships and have an intimate understanding of the industry, competitors and trends, along with developing customer focused sales acquisition strategies that drive sustainable growth within portfolio of leads.

Responsibilities:

  • Build key relationships with new customers in your industry vertical
  • Provide analysis, identification and qualification of opportunities across aligned portfolio of customers/leads
  • Provide consultative services and information to customers advising them on the best option based on their needs
  • Identification and qualification of deals using Vocus’ sales methodology
  • Be a consultative partner to prospects and customers, with a deep knowledge of their strategic direction and business needs
  • Identify new sales opportunities and focus on providing consultative support by building value proposition for solutions into the customer

Skills:

  • Minimum 5 years experience in customer facing roles, preferably acquisition/business development
  • Sound product and industry knowledge coupled with the ability to deal with clients and translate client needs into a complete solution:
  • Experience in engaging directly with customers and forming relationships
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships and networking with professionals of all organisational levels
  • Strong knowledge of industry and market trends
