Venues NSW is a commerically focused agency of the NSW Government, encompassing the Sydney Cricket Ground and Allianz Stadium as well as major sporting and cultural stadiums and precincts in Sydney, Olympic Park, Parramatta, Newcastle and Wollongong. The network of stadiums and entertainment centres host in excess of 5 million people a year at more than 500 events and is a key contributor to the economy.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Are you a Customer Service Superstar with a keen interest in Health and Fitness? Looking for a fresh start in a brand-new facility? Join an iconic, fun team at the brand new Sporting Club of Sydney as part of our Front Office or Day Spa Reception team! 

A once in a lifetime opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering premium and memorable customer experiences in the new state of the art facility at Moore Park that will be the envy of the industry. 

As the first and last point of contact for our members and their guests, you will go above and beyond to make every visit better than their last, creating strong relationships along the way.

You will need excellent communication skills, be a problem-solver with sense of urgency, and a team player to collectively embed high standards with accountability. You will work closely with our energetic and vibrant fitness team members as well as sub-clubs including the Swimming Club, Tennis Club, Squash Club, Golf Club and Creche. Availability is required for early mornings, late evenings and weekends with flexible options available.

You will be fun, flexible and have a can-do attitude! We will operate to a 7-day roster and initially positions are casual with a view to become permanent over time. 

The new Sporting Club of Sydney boasts strength, cardio and functional training zones, an outdoor training terrace, separate group fitness, mind body and cycle studio. As well as an indoor 25m pool, outdoor 50m pool, spa, cold plunge, steam, traditional sauna and infrared sauna rooms. An indoor/ outdoor café, day spa, golf simulator and child-minding facility for members and their guests.  

ABOUT YOU:

  • 1-2 years of Reception, Concierge or similar Customer Service experience as well as previous experience in payment transactions. 
  • Demonstrated ability to go above and beyond for premium customer experiences.
  • Competent in technology usage including Microsoft Office Suite, Mindbody (desirable but not essential).
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (desirable but not essential).
