Venues NSW is a commerically focused agency of the NSW Government, encompassing the Sydney Cricket Ground and Allianz Stadium as well as major sporting and cultural stadiums and precincts in Sydney, Olympic Park, Parramatta, Newcastle and Wollongong. The network of stadiums and entertainment centres host in excess of 5 million people a year at more than 500 events and is a key contributor to the economy.
 
Venues NSW takes an intergrated approach to our stadia and entertainment centres by developing partnerships with sporting codes, the entertainment and event industry, audiences, local businesses, NSW Government agencies and community groups. Our network throughout NSW allows us to combine internal resources and harness a vast employee skillset all of which helps us deliver key projects and secure outstanding content.
 

ABOUT THE ROLE 

The new Club boasts strength, cardio and functional training zones, an outdoor training terrace, separate group fitness, mind body and cycle studio. As well as an indoor 25m pool, outdoor 50m pool, spa, cold plunge, steam, traditional sauna and infrared sauna rooms. An indoor/ outdoor café, day spa, golf simulator and child-minding facility for members and their guests.   

This role will be work closely with the Aquatics Manager to ensure a premium experience is delivered that is second to none for our members and their guests. This role requires you to work both collaboratively and independently while using the framework of our swimming program to teach technique-based lessons.  

ABOUT YOU

You will have excellent verbal communication skills as well as the ability to coach/demonstrate correctly. Possess the confidence and skills to interact with a diverse range of children and parents is paramount. You will have a passion for working with children, nurturing their confidence as they learn to swim and improve their abilities at all levels. You will be fun, flexible and have a can-do attitude.    

Availability is required for mornings, afternoons weekdays and weekends.

You will need to be Qualified as:

  • Swim Australia Teacher OR AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety qualified or equivalent 
  • Current valid working with children check
  • CPR Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
