About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Legal Department as Paralegal on a full-time permanent basis.
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Paralegal to join our in-house legal team. As a key player in our legal function, you will be contributing to a variety of tasks that support and strengthen the overall legal operations of the business. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for law and a desire to gain significant exposure to in-house legal matters.
About You
To be eligible to apply for this position you must demonstrate the following:
- Ability to produce monthly reports required by the legal team
- Experience with conducting evidence gathering for regulatory inquiries, AFCA complaints, litigation or audits, including the collation and categorisation of evidence as required.
- Ability to format and proof documents prepared by the legal team, including preparation of template correspondence and drafting of internal legal updates.
- Experience in reviewing and updating legal templates and precedents as well as management of template and precedent base
- Assisting with litigation administration tasks
- Diploma in Paralegal studies or a legal related undergraduate degree
- A high level of computer literacy, accuracy and attention to detail
- Experience working in a Financial Institution (desirable)
