This role will suit a self-motivated highly organised individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.  You will be at the forefront of the customer journey from booking in vehicles to liaising with the customer until the job is done.  A good understanding of automotive mechanical concepts is a must to ensure you are able to fully discuss repair and service requirements with customers.

You may be an experienced Advisor working in the automotive / earthmoving / industrial area – or maybe you are a mechanic wanting to move off the tools and into an office-based role.

This is a full-time position working Monday – Friday 8am - 5pm with a Saturday 8am – 12pm roster.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Scheduling and maintaining the bookings diary.
  • Updating and communicating with customers on a regular basis.
  • Raising and quoting repair orders.
  • Computing costs, maintaining bill of materials and calculating rates for parts and service
  • Maintaining accurate records for all warranty work and repair orders ensuring that warranty / replacement parts are stored as per manufacturer requirements
  • Preparations of a variety of reports with efficient communication to the various stakeholders of the department 
  • Assisting the wider service team with various duties to ensure the departments continue to exceed customer expectations
  • Finalising work orders and preparing Invoices.

Skills & Experience

  • Trade qualification or demonstrated industry experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and organisational skills 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent attention to detail, mathematic ability and customer focus
  • Exceptional computer literacy and sound organisational skills
  • An ability to work autonomously and as a team
