Pre Owned Sales Manager

Mercedes-Benz Adelaide are seeking a professional, can-do Sales Manager to join our Certified Pre-Owned sales team.

You will manage the sales department by identifying objectives, strategies and action plans to improve short- and long-term sales volume and revenue and to ensure consistent profitable growth for the franchise through positive planning and management of the sales team.

What will you be doing

• Establish short- and long-term sales targets for sales team
• Ensure sales consultants follow the sales process in accordance with company procedures
• Actively prospect and monitor new business opportunities with sales team, new clients and existing clients
• Monitor market trends and advise the General Manager of changes in competition, product availability or related matters and provide suitable action plans
• Evaluate the performance of the sales team and provide regular feedback to sales consultants
• Regularly review monthly P&L accounts, vehicle stock levels and stock ageing levels and identify areas requiring attention
• Manage the accurate recording of sales and sales prospecting in the company prospecting system
• Ensure all advertising, sales promotion material and branch displays are in accordance with agreed programs
• Regularly review staff levels to ensure they are adequate to meet targets
• Ensure customer service matters are dealt with promptly and efficiently

Skills & Experience

• Strong leadership ability
• Demonstrated industry experience preferred, but not essential
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• High standard of personal presentation
• Problem solving and analytical skills
• Commercial acumen
• Negotiation and marketing skills
• Hold a current SA driver licence
• Sound IT skillset
