Waste Coordinator - Perth WA

The Opportunity:
Within this new Waste Coordinator role, you’ll be the key point of contact for planning, coordinating, and executing waste disposal activities for a high-profile national entertainment facility.
Based in the Perth office you’ll ensure services are compliant with environmental regulations and aligned with operational schedules, while actively driving improvements and waste reduction initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and manage both reactive and scheduled waste services in line with contracts and environmental guidelines.
- Coordinate readiness for waste services prior to site openings or events.
- Collaborate with management to align waste services with project timelines.
- Conduct post-event audits and inspections to resolve waste-related issues.
- Track and analyse waste data to improve processes and ensure KPI compliance.
- Liaise with internal teams, contractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient and timely service delivery.
- Drive continuous improvement in waste processes and service quality.
- Contribute to transformation and improvement initiatives within waste management operations.
Key Selection Criteria:
- Tertiary or higher qualification in Business, Administration, or a related technical stream.
- Proven experience in strong administrative, planning, and coordination experience.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail within a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in minor project planning and coordination.
- Proficiency in operating systems and applications.
- Full Australian working rights and clear recent police check.
