Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
- Employee Relations Management: Oversee and support “end-to-end” HR case management, with a strong focus on workplace investigations and performance matters
- HR Compliance: Guide managers and employees on legislation, awards, enterprise agreements, and HR policies.
- HR Partnership and Relationship Management: Partnering with City leaders to drive a high performing culture.
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualifications: Tertiary or postgraduate qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline (essential).
- Experience: 3 - 5 years of HR experience (highly desirable) handling high-volume investigations in a blue-collar or service-based industries with a working knowledge of enterprise agreements and awards
- Employee Relations: Proven experience in addressing conflict resolution, grievance management, and promoting a positive workplace environment.
- Compliance Knowledge: Strong understanding of national employment standards and relevant workplace legislation.
- Professional Representation: Ability to represent the HR function at a senior level both internally and externally.
