 Job Description

We are seeking a Fleet Manager to join our Fleet department. This is a full-time, office-based permanent position that requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, and the ability to work autonomously within a fast-paced team environment.

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Ensuring that the fleet composition and number of vehicles match the type and amount of work available, also catering for the seasonality of our industry and changing customer requirements.
• Facilitating and monitoring Return to Work programs for injured sub-contractors.
• Providing leadership, support and guidance to the Fleet Management team and sub-contractors. 
• Consulting with sub-contractors on disciplinary and training issues, ensuring they are recorded and filed appropriately.  
• Ensuring that our sub-contractor fleet has been trained in the Capital Transport group policies, load restraint, WH&S, fatigue management, manual handling, as well as any other training required by legislation and without risk to their health and safety.
