The Role:

Based in our Support Office in Malvern, we have a fantastic new opportunity for an experienced Senior Product Developer to join our team. Reporting to the General Manager and working closely with the product and planning teams, you’ll ensure the seamless and timely delivery of our collections. This role is ideal for a motivated and passionate individual ready to make a meaningful impact. Your strong organisational skills and proactive mindset will play a vital part in shaping the ongoing success and growth of the Perri Cutten brand.

 

 

Other responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

 

  • Oversee, streamline, and optimise the critical path and go-to-market timeline to ensure timely product launches
  • Control category costs to meet quality and margin objectives, providing cost forecasts and solutions that align with both commercial and aesthetic goals
  • Lead cost negotiations with suppliers, identifying feasible cost solutions and presenting alternative options when needed
  • Collaborate closely with factories throughout the development process to maintain clear expectations
  • Align internal stakeholders and proactively manage risks to keep the critical path on track
  • Maintain strong supplier partnerships and oversee capacity planning within the supply chain

 

 

You will have:

 

  • Relevant tertiary or related qualifications
  • 5 – 7 years’ experience in a Product Development role in womenswear within the fashion and luxury sectors
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with suppliers and stakeholders
  • Proven ability to negotiate effectively and build lasting supplier relationships
  • Proactive problem-solving skills with the ability to manage challenges and changes in the production process
  • Strong attention to detail
  • A positive and proactive ‘can do’ attitude
  • Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbal to team members at all levels
  • Proven ability to take ownership and demonstrate initiative
  • Ability to effectively manage challenging or pressured situations
