CRM Automation Specialist
The Role:
The Austin Group, home to iconic Australian brands GAZMAN, Cable, and Perri Cutten, is seeking a dynamic CRM Automation Specialist to join our team. This is your opportunity to play a pivotal role in enhancing customer engagement and driving business growth through innovative automation strategies.
As a CRM Automation Specialist, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing automated marketing processes across our brands. You’ll work closely with marketing, e-commerce, IT, and other teams to leverage CRM tools for seamless communication, data-driven insights, and targeted marketing initiatives. Your role will directly contribute to enhancing customer loyalty, increasing sales, and delivering exceptional brand experiences.
Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Design and implement automated workflows and campaigns within the CRM system aligned with the customer lifecycle
- Develop and execute automated marketing campaigns to drive customer growth through retention focused campaigns
- Test, monitor, and optimise campaigns to ensure high performance and ROI
- Analyse customer data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement for customer segmentation
- Report on key metrics such as open rates, conversions, and customer lifetime value
- Provide insights to improve campaigns and recommend new automation opportunities
- Partner with marketing, creative, and IT teams to align strategies with business goals
- Train internal teams on CRM best practices and automation tools
- Troubleshoot technical issues and maintain the efficiency of CRM workflows
- Stay updated on trends and technologies to drive innovation in CRM
To be successful in this role you will have:
- 3-5 years in CRM automation and marketing platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Emarsys, Klaviyo)
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
- Expertise in data analysis, campaign optimization, and multi-channel marketing
- Familiarity with API integrations, data imports/exports, and CRM customization
- Ability to use analytics tools (Google Analytics, CRM reporting tools) to assess automation effectiveness
- Experience with A/B testing, multi-channel marketing strategies, and advanced segmentation techniques
- Strong understanding of marketing processes, sales funnels, and customer lifecycle management
- Experience with email and SMS marketing, lead nurturing, and campaign management automation
- Experience working with a retail loyalty programme is a plus
- Exceptional communication skills
- A detailed and focused approach to work and be highly organised
- Ability to think laterally on all issues and take a proactive approach to resolve them
- A positive and proactive ‘can do’ attitude
